This curious little warrior is a hand-painted tribute to the nonsensical margins of medieval manuscripts, where rabbits were sometimes imagined not as prey but as armoured heroes.

Painted in watercolour on a smooth, pebble-shaped piece of beech wood (approx. 55 x 45 x 15mm), this battle-ready rabbit stands tall and defiant, golden sword in paw. Sealed with lacquer.
