A hand-made hare bookmark made from polymer clay. The clay is a pinkish beige colour with speckles, with a blue-green glaze. Each one is cut by hand and the patterns and glaze will vary, making each one a mini unique artwork - my attempt to bring a little bit of art into the everyday.
Not ceramic - polymer clay is a sculptural plastic, it feels different and is very strong and slightly flexible. Approx 11.5cm at longest point, 2mm thick, with a brown cord and bead knotted onto the end.
This piece is made using a natural botanical speckle blend made from rooibos, caffeine-free green tea, and decaffeinated coffee. These ingredients have been simmered, dried, and finely powdered before being mixed into the clay. If you have sensitivities to plant materials or herbal products, please bear this in mind.
